Signing my first book contract (to write #ENTRYLEVELtweet: Taking Your Career from Classroom to Cubicle) was one of the most exciting moments of my life. However, signing my second book contract this past weekend was even more exhilarating!
Like my co-author, Kristina Allen, I’ve been a writer since a very young age. I used to write short stories for my little brother and cousins, and then record them on cassette tapes (remember those?) so they could listen to them at bedtime. But becoming a two-time published author is a whole different ball game.
Unlike my first book, Follow Me: How Gen Y is Changing the Face of Networking will be about young job seekers — not for them. We have an outline, questions we’d like the book to answer/address, and have already begun interviewing other experts.
But that doesn’t mean you can’t be involved! You can follow our progress, share your ideas, and benefit from our research along the way by becoming a fan of the Facebook page. Definitely feel free to share your experiences or questions with us, and we may just include you in the book!
